KIS’s Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps any company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public.
Kalangala Infrastructure Services Ltd (KIS)’s practice of corporate social responsibility is because its well conscious of the kind of impact it has on all aspects of society be it economic, social or environment. KIS’s decision to engage in CSR implies that in the normal course of business, it has to operate in positive ways that enhance both society and the environment.
KIS’s CSR plan aims at being more aware of the impact of its business on the rest of society, including our stakeholders and the environment.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility is an approach that contributes to sustainable development by delivering economic, social and environmental benefits for all stakeholders. This is more evident in the tabled efforts below.

KIS supported Blood donation campaign in Kalangala for two years to save life. 2018 - 443 Units were collected 2019 - 533 Units were collected Overall Benefits: Giving hope for life saving through donating blood. Kabaka Birthday run in Ssese |
KIS has been supportive to the Kabaka birthday run, Fistula and Sickle Cells runs by donating kits and financial support for four years now.
