REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO INSTALL MARINE MARK BUOYS AT BUKAKATA AND BUGOMA ON LAKE VICTORIA

KIS invites interested and competent firms to come and conduct general sites surveys and assessments required for installation of Marine Mark Buoys at Luku and Bukakata ports and thereafter, submit relevant proposals as applicable. Hydrographic surveys can be conducted using multibeam sonar to map lakebed depths. Thereafter, analyze lakebed soil composition (per ASTMD 1586 core sampling) to determine suitable anchoring methods. A firm that will come and conduct a site survey shall be given a “TOR” - Terms of Reference document to aid it in computing its proposals to be considered for selection for award of the contract to execute the project. Both Technical and Financial Proposals should be addressed to the “KIS Procurement Committee” and delivered to the Company’s Kampala Office at the address indicated below, not later than August 22nd, 2025, at or before 1700hrs Local time.
